Society's View of Sex

A large focus of the Health movement was identifying the natural actions of humans and using this insight to make people healthier and happier.  One of the many topics studied and talked about was sex. Authors provided the public with both the religious and scientific perspective of the naturalness of sex through marriage guides and other forms of texts. The two perspectives combined to create a new set of gender expectations for men and women in an era where sex was considered a natural interaction.
